Oilers call up may point to significant injury on the main roster.

There's been no official confirmation of an injury but there are certainly some signs pointing in that direction.

According to a report from TSN insider Frank Seravalli, the Edmonton Oilers have made the decision to call up veteran Eric Gryba following what appears to be an injury to Edmonton's Brandon Davidson.

Davidson appeared to suffer the injury against Calgary when he got tangled up in a battle behind the net with Calgary rookie Matthew Tkachuk , in the video below you can see based on his body language in the scrum something is not quite right.

The call up of Gryba would indicate he will not be ready to go Friday, but no official word just yet.
