Oilers superstar Connor McDavid sends a message to fans after Game 7 loss.

Connor McDavid may already be so popular in Edmonton that there may be no room for his popularity to grow. However if there is, this may do it.

McDavid could have laid low after a tough Game 7 loss against the Anaheim Ducks but instead the Oilers captain has come out and sent a tremendously gracious message to his fan base.

McDavid thanks the fans of the franchise on social media Friday, stating that they are best fans, and already appeared to be hinting at another big season by saying he was looking forward to next year.
