Oilers’ Tippett slams players who complain about back-to-back games!

It’s a good thing the Edmonton Oilers had a day off between Wednesday night’s 5-2 loss to the St. Louis Blues and tonight’s match up against the New Jersey Devils.

Why?

Because head coach Dave Tippett cannot deal with players complaining about how tough back to back games are. Meeting with media members ahead of tonight’s game, Tippett explained how tough it was back in the day to play two consecutive games in two days in comparison to what NHL players have to deal with nowadays.

There is no comparison!
