Edmonton Oilers forward Kailer Yamamoto knows how to impress management to crack the roster.
The Oilers first round pick in the 2017 NHL draft is a the top of the league's goal-leaders in the preseason games, as he recorded five goals already in the team's training camp.
Oilers head coach Todd McLellan has mentioned that he would love to see Yamamoto start the season with the Oilers, although he will turn only 19 on Friday.
Selected 22nd overall this past summer, Yamamoto amassed 42 goals and 99 points, last season with the Spokane Chiefs in the Western Hockey League.
