Ovechkin and Oshie collide, Ovechkin leaves game with suspected concussion

Midway through the first period of tonight’s game between the Washington Capitals and Toronto Maple Leafs, Caps captain Alex Ovechkin collided with teammate T.J. Oshie in the neutral zone and went down HARD.

Ovechkin fell to the ice and laid there holding his head for some time before finally exiting the game. It’s believed now that Ovechkin has been taken under concussion protocol.
