It has to be a frustrating time for veteran forward Patrick Marleau. The forward was awarded a great chance to take part in the playoffs on Feb.24 when he was traded from the San Jose Sharks to the Pittsburgh Penguins and getting another shot at winning the Stanley Cup before hanging up the skates.

But then came the NHL shutdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic and now Marleau is sitting at home wondering if this chance will come true or simply get cancelled along with the 2019-20 season.

The 40-year-old has however found a way to cheer up and keep active during the pause. On Tuesday, his wife Christina caught him on video and posted the footage on Twitter for everyone to see.

Marleau was caught roller-blading through the house as he respects the Stay-at-Home order during this difficult time. However, the funniest thing in the video is hearing one of his sons scolding him, yelling at Marleau that he is not supposed to be roller-blading through the house!

We bet that kid was in trouble once for it! Christina Marleau points out that “at least someone here knows the house rules!”

Players are finding their own ways to stay in shape while the NHL season remains on pause and we have to admit we love how Marleau and his family are keeping busy and fit!
