A lot has been said about last season in Chicago and clearly, GM Bowman is now putting in motion a very different strategy than in the precedent season. Some proven veteran are coming back in the roster, namely Brandon Saad and Patrick Sharp, while promising rookie Artemi Panarin and beloved Niklas Hjalmarsson are now gone.

Patrick Sharp left Chicago a few years ago and it was kind of a bittersweet moment for him, after winning the cup with the Hawks twice in his stay. He played 10 years in Chicago before leaving to Dallas, but he's now back in his old team with lots of his former teammates still around.

He reacted to the trade on Twitter today.

A safe bet would be that he still had his old gear in a safe place at home and that it won't be too long before he feels home again in Chicago. A lot of work stand in front of him but all the ingredients are in place.
