For the 2nd time this season, Chicago Blackhawks' forward Bryan Bickell cleared waivers.
With a $4M cap-hit, Bickell salary will get buried in the AHL, when the Hawks' assigned him to the Rockford IceHogs.
The 29 year-old only recorded 2 assists in 23 games in the NHL this season. Bickell is under contract with Chicago until the 2016-2017 season.
Bryan Bickell was a second-round draft pick in the 2004 draft for the Blackhawks and was a key contributor for the Hawks' 3 Stanley Cups in recent years, but can't find a way to take his playoffs success to the regular season.
It is widely believed that Bryan Bickell will be buy out at the end of the present season.
