Player could face suspension after scary hit.

An NHLer may find himself in trouble with the league for this highly questionable hit.

During Sunday's matchup between the Winnipeg Jets and Los Angeles Kings, Kings' forward Kyle Clifford rode Jets forward Kyle Connor into the end boards, and his head and neck did not look good on the play.

Connor was clearly shaken up on the play and lay on the ice motionless. The good news for Connor is he was able to get to his feet and skate to the Jets' dressing room. 

Clifford received a five-minute major for boarding for the play, so the NHL there is a good chance the Department of Player Safety will have a look at this in the near future.
