The Nashville Predators cut their traning camp roster down to 26 players, after they have assigned 10 players to the Milwaukee Admirals (AHL).

Forward Cody Bass, P.C Labrie, Trevor Smith, Emil Petterson and Yakov Trenin, defensemen Alexandre Carrier, Petter Granberg, Jack Dougherty and Andrew O’Brien and Anders Lindback will all report to Milwaukee’s affiliate team.

Cody Bass has some NHL experience, as he played 26 games over two seasons with the Predators, without registering a point. Bass, 30, was drafted 95th overall by the Ottawa Senators in 2005. He played 75 NHL games in his career. He was signed as a free agent by the Predators in 2015.

Granberg, 25, was drafted 116th by the Toronto Maple Leafs in 2010. He was claimed off waivers by Nashville on November 22nd 2015. In 37 games with the Predators, he registered 2 points.

Lindback, 29, will be in his second stint in the Predators organisation. Nashville drafted him 207th overall back in 2008. The Sweddish goaltender was then traded to Tampa Bay in the summer of 2012. Last season, he played with Rogle BK (SweHL). Nashville signed him as a free agent this summer. In 130 NHL games, Lindback has a GAA of 2.87 and a save percentage of .904.
