According to multiple Finnish language reports, Nashville Predators rookie Eeli Tolvanen has been released by the team and will join Team Finland for the upcoming World Junior Championships in Vancouver/Victoria.

The teenage sniper has just one goal and two points in four games with the Preds this season and four goals and 12 points in 24 games with the team’s AHL affiliate Milwaukee Admirals.
The World Junior tournament begins on December 26th, 2018 and runs through the first week of January, 2019, after which Tolvanen will he returned to the Preds or Admirals.
