The Vegas Golden Knights put their perfect preseason on the line Tuesday night, facing the Colorado Avalanche in their second preseason game. And they’re still perfect! Thomas Hyka scored and added an assist, Jonathan Marchessault, Oskar Lindberg and Brad Hunt added a goal each, helping the new NHL franchise to defeat the Colorado Avalanche by a score of 4-1.

Maxime Lagace played the first two periods, allowing one goal on eleven shots, as Nathan MacKinnon scored on the power play in the second period. Oskar Dansk remained perfect, saving all 18 shots he faced in twenty minutes of work.

Sunday, the Golden Knights beat the Vancouver Canucks 9-4 in a high scoring affair, highlighted by the hat trick of undrafted and unsigned player Tyler Wong.

Yes, it’s still preseason hockey, but these games can be huge confidence boosters for these guys. Thursday night, the Golden Knights will go for their third victory in a row as they face the San Jose Sharks.
