Among all the craziness today, some more regular news can be reported. The UFA market is on fire but one guy inked a deal with his new team after being traded weeks ago.

We just got the word Nick Cousins will sign a two-year, 1M$ per year contract with the Arizona Coyotes. It's a slight increase from his last one year, 840,000$ deal.

Cousins played 107 games with the Flyers in the last three years before being traded at the end of the last. He has 27 points so far and established himself as a decent depth centerman useful in defensive situations.

His extension in Arizona will give him a chance to prove himself and grow into the forward he expects to become. At 23 years old, he still has a lot to learn and this signature could turn out beautifully for the Coyotes.
