The Montreal Canadiens will be down several men on their upcoming road trip.

On Monday TSN's Amanda Stein confirmed that forward Andrew Shaw would continue to miss time due to the concussion he suffered all the way back in early December when he was the victim of a huge hit from Boston Bruin Torey Krug.

That report was quickly followed by confirmation that Shaw would not travel on the road trip and joining him on the sidelines are Alex Galchenyuk, David Desharnais, Andrei Markov and Greg Pateryn.

This leaves the Canadiens down several men for one of the most anticipated games of the season, Shea Weber's return to Nasvhille, but the Predators will be without their key competent in that drama with P.K. Subban sidelined for that contest.
