The Vancouver Canucks announced a pair of depth signings on Tuesday.

Both forward Alexandre Grenier as well as defenseman Andrey Pedan will be back with the organization for one more season after both players agreed to two-way deals. From the Canucks official announcement:

Vancouver Canucks General Manager Jim Benning announced today that the Canucks have signed defenceman Andrey Pedan and forward Alexandre Grenier each to a one-year, two-way contract extension.

Pedan, 23, appeared in 13 games for the Canucks in his debut NHL season in 2015.16. He recorded at least two hits in each game played and led the team with 3.1 hits per game.

Grenier, 24, appeared in six games for Vancouver in his first NHL season in 2015.16.

Both men spent most of their time in the American Hockey League last season, and that's likely to be the case again unless they can impress and earn more time at the NHL level.
