Artem Anisimov of the Chicago Blackhawks has been one of the most effective players so far in the 2016-2017 NHL regular season.

This week he was named as the second star of the week by the NHL. He currently sits among the top of the Blackhawks leader board with four goals and five assists for a total of nine point so far this season.

Blackhawks fans and players do not have much to complain about when it comes to Anisimov but he seems to be hard on himself striving for perfection this season.

He is frustrated about his performance on the face off which he currently has a success rate of 35%. This means that he only wins the face off once out of every three tries. Winning face offs is critical for centers to breakdown an opponent's momentum in the zone and to also to make plays while the puck drops in the offensive area.

Given time hopefully Anisimov will be able to develop his abilities and up his success rate as the season progresses.
