The Leafs are not complacent despite their fate being sealed.

At this time of year for a team that is well out of playoff contention you would imagine complacency would be a potential issue, but apparently not for the Toronto Maple Leafs.

On Thursday the Leafs announced no less than eight roster moves, effectively swapping out four players from their roster and sending them down to the AHL Marlies in order to make room for four call ups from the Marlies.

The players who will be joining the Leafs are forwards Kasperi Kapanen and Tobias Lindberg and two denfsemen in Andrew Campbell and T.J. Brennan. No particular reason was given for the decision, but obviously it comes at the expense of four other players.

The players who will be sent down to the American Hockey League are Connor Brown, Zach Hyman, Rinat Valiev as well as Connor Carrick.
