A big change for Toronto.

The Toronto Maple Leafs are without a doubt one of the most interesting teams to watch in the National Hockey League right now, and frankly if they had some more solid goaltending to start the season we may be having a very different discussion about them right now.

With that said goaltender Frederik Andersen has started to bounce back into form as of late, and as a result the Leafs have seen a massive shift in their NHL power rankings in just a single week.

TSN's Scott Cullen published his weekly rankings on Monday and the Leafs went from the 27th ranked team in the league just one week ago, to a team that is now ranked 16th, a very impressive jump of 11 spots on the list.

Cullen largely credits the resurgence of Andersen as the primary factor behind the jump, and when you consider his save percentage of .944 over the last 5 games in contract to his save percentage of .902 overall on the season, it's not hard to see why the Leafs have lived and died by his performance.

This will be a trend worth keeping an eye on, as if the Leafs can continue moving in this direction Toronto may be in for a very interesting season.
