Alex Radulov was a revelation for the Montreal Canadiens in 2016-17. The 30 year-old Russian put up 18 goals and 54 points in 76 games after signing a one year “show me” contract coming from the KHL. So, it’s a no-brainer that Habs GM Marc Bergevin signs him to a long-term deal, right? Not so fast.

Russian reporter and KHL insider Aivins Kalnins reports that at least one KHL team has an insane offer on the table in an attempt to lure Radulov back to Mother Russia:

Wow. That’s a lot of rubles. But, will it be enough to entice Radulov back to the KHL? He’s already one league championships and MVP awards in his native country, but has yet to experience the same level of success in the NHL. While it’s an intriguing option, look for Radulov to chase glory in North America rather than money in Russia.
