After publicly declaring that he’s seeking a trade out of the Winnipeg Jets last weekend, Jacob Trouba is wasting no time in fielding offers from at least four different teams, according to TSN’s Bob McKenzie.
Amongst the teams interested in acquiring the 22-year-old’s services, McKenzie lists the Arizona Coyotes, Boston Bruins, Colorado Avalanche and New York Rangers are the ones who are definitely willing to make a deal happen.
Evidently, as Jets general manager Kevin Cheveldayoff explicitly mentioned yesterday, the asking price for the talented two-way defenseman is a left-handed blue-liner of the same caliber and age as Trouba.
McKenzie said “"Maybe the parameters change at some point, but this would suggest to me maybe this is going to be a long, drawn-out affair.”
Get comfortable, folks.
