Rumor: Another elite forward has been traded.

There has just been a very strange report from TSN this morning, one that appeared to be quickly retracted.

According to the TSN 1050 radio account Toronto Maple Leafs forward James Van Riemsdyk has been traded, although that announcement was deleted almost as quickly as it went online.

No details of the trade were released and there has been no word yet on whether or not this was a premature announcement for a trade that is being finalized or if it was simply a mistake all together, rest assured we will keep you up to date on this story.
