Rumor: Bruins taking offers on Pastrnak?
Keystone Press

As NHL training camps and the pre-season schedule draw nearer the spotlight shines even brighter on star players currently without contracts for the upcoming season. And there’s no brighter star out there than Boston Bruins RFA David Pastrnak

Call it crazy, call it ridiculous but you knew it was only a matter of time until trade rumors started to surface around the 21-year-old sniper given the status of his contract negotiations. When Bruins insider Joe Haggerty reported last week that talks between Pastrnak and Bruins general manager Don Sweeney had moved “into a holding pattern”, you just KNEW that the rumor mill would be fired up in due time.

Now, a report from dubious NHL insider and trade rumor monger Eklund has Pastrnak on the move from Boston to the Los Angeles Kings. Check it out:

No word on what the return would be for Pastrnak, but unless it’s Wayne Gretzky from the team’s 1993 season, it’s probably not worth it to the Bruins. What do you think of this rumor, Bruins fans? Is it nonsense? Or is there someone from the Kings roster that you’d take in a swap for Pastrnak? Drew Dougthy? Anze Kopitar?
