The Montreal Canadiens are reportedly interested in a young undrafted forward.

20-year-old Antoine Waked is having an outstanding season with the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies of the QMJHL and according to a report from Mickael Lalancette of TVA Sports, that has peaked the curiosity of Habs general manager Marc Bergevin.

Waked is a right-winger and in 61 games this season in the QMJHL he has 36 goals and 41 assists for an impressive total of 77 points. Given the struggles Montreal has had at times offensively, it's no surprise that Bergevin is searching for possible solutions anywhere he can find them.

Waked would effectively be a free agent and could chose to sign with any team of his choosing, and it's unclear if any other teams have interest in the young forward at this time.
