There are rumors of a deal involving the Montreal Canadiens.

According to a report from Sportsnet's Eric Engels several teams, specifically teams in the Western Conference, have reach out to the Canadiens with the interest of potentially acquiring goaltender Mike Condon.

The 26 year old netminder had to step up in a major way last season when goaltender Carey Price was sidelined with an injury, and while he did show moments of brilliance it would also be fair to say that overall he struggled during his 55 games played, in what was his very first NHL season.

It's unclear what teams at this time are interested, but it's likely to be a relatively minor deal as it's hard to imagine Condon being acquired as anything more than a back up, at least for the short-term.
