The New York Rangers are 2-6-2 after ten games, and fans are probably wondering how long this can continue before substantial changes are made.

According to TSN insider Bob McKenzie, Rangers management are desperately looking for a way to fix the team. However, while many may think the solution is to fire head coach Alain Vigneault to get the most changes, McKenzie believes the Rangers are best to make a trade first.

Many reporters in the Big Apple thought it could be possible to see the Rangers inquire about Montreal Canadiens forward Alex Galchenyuk. However, Habs GM Marc Bergevin revealed in a press conference yesterday that he is not looking to move him.

It remains to be seen if the Blue Shirts will be a Cup contender this season. If not a major shift will be in store, especially with forward Rick Nash looking for a contract extension.
