One of the most polarizing players to play for both the KHL and the NHL met with his new team for the first time today. It would also be the first time he met with the media, and spent twenty minutes answering questions.
After dealing with a visa that was delayed, Alexander Radulov touched down in Montreal last Saturday and met with journalists to express his delight in joining the Canadiens earlier this afternoon:
“(Marc Bergevin) was saying it’s a special place to play. I hate losing. I hate when something goes not our way… I want to win every night,” he told Sportsnet.
While his one-year deal allows Habs fans to breathe a collective sigh of relief, it’s certainly a risk worth taking with a proven goal-scorer like himself.
