Every year, superstars get hurt and it has a huge impact on their teams. Whether it's a top goalie, a solid defenseman or your top forward, losing a key player always hurts. Some teams have more depth than others, but these five teams were hurt the most by injuries. 

It's totally insane to consider that the Kings lost 17.84 points in this year's standing! The team is battling hard to get a playoff spot and they have an 18% chance to make it. Just imagine how easy it would have been with top players in the lineup. 

How about the Lightning? With Stamkos out so long, no wonder they still have to win a tough matchup against the Capitals tonight to keep their hopes alive. Add 15 points to their rank and things would be much easier.

Pittsburgh is doing fine with the lots of injuries they suffered. It's interesting to see that the Capitals were the less injured and lead the NHL. It's always easier when you have the full lineup about every game.
