Sens troll Leafs in response to last night's controversy.

The Ottawa Senators added more fuel to the fire on Sunday morning, taunting the Maple Leafs on social media.

There was quite a bit of bad blood on the ice on Saturday night when the Battle of Ontario took place between the Ottawa Senators and Toronto Maple Leafs and it seems that, in spite of the fact that these two teams will not meet again during the regular season, both sides are actively stoking the flames of this rivalry.

It was Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Sheldon Keefe who first threw fuel onto the fire when he co-signed the actions of Maple Leafs defenseman Morgan Rielly, actions that we now know will lead to a hefty suspension, but on Sunday morning the Senators followed up with a volley of their own.

The Sens not only fired a shot back at the Leafs but incorporated one of their sponsors into the whole deal, awarding forward Ridly Greig the "Performer of the Game" award for his slap shot into the empty Leafs net with 5 seconds left on the game clock.

A very clear and deliberate attempt at trolling on the part of the Senators, and one that is certain to add to this already intense rivalry.
