Ever since the contract negotiations that took place in 2014, the relationship between former Columbus Blue Jackets star forward Ryan Johansen, and Blue Jackets management has been rocky at best. On Sunday night that rocky relationship hit yet another bump in the road.

Johansen made his triumphant return to Columbus, this time in wearing the uniform of a Nasvhille Predator, for the very first time since being traded for defenseman Seth Jones early in 2016, but he didn't receive the reception he was oping for. While Johansen wasn't expecting the Jackets to roll out the red carpet, the complete lack of any mention seemed to irk him.

"I was a little disappointed they didn’t put anything on the Jumbotron to say 'thank you,' or anything like that. I think we all know who made that call, but whatever."

Johansen is clearly refering to Blue Jackets general manager Jarmo Kekäläinen who seems unlikely to respond to these comments from Johansen, although one could argue that he said everything he needed to say by snubbing Johansen in his return to Columbus.
