The NHL adds amazing feature for fans!

The NHL might not always be exactly as much fan oriented as it should, but its still trying. The organization recently unveiled an exciting feature to its website that might have flown a bit under the radar. 

From now on, you can lookup statistics from ALL the seasons ever played in the league. Stats were already available for the modern NHL, but the historical side of it was left dragging. 

Why is it so significant? Well, for one thing it will help shed some light on the history of the league. It may also provide a logical comparison between eras. You always hear the same ''Yeah but back in 1913, players played better, scored more points!''. Well, now this one is settled. 

Also, the NHL is openly proud about its history and it's a good thing. It would have been a shame to keep this very important side of the league in the shadow, as statistics are pretty much everything in this sport.
