Tom Wilson tries to fight the entire Penguins line and fails miserably

Erik Gudbranson was brought in at the trade deadline to inject some much needed physicality into the Pittsburgh Penguins’ game and got the chance to prove to fans he’s the right man for the job. 

The veteran defenseman made Washington Capitals enforcer Tom Wilson look bad on Tuesday night, he who wanted to show off as he attempted to take on three Penguins players at once. 

In front of Matt Murray’s net, Wilson attempted to move everyone out of the way to find the puck, and tried to fight the entire line at once. However, Gudbranson was there to make him fail miserably. 

As soon as he saw Wilson pushing players around, including Jake Guentzel, Gudbranson went straight to the Caps forward and let him know he couldn’t do that. 

The two players ultimately wrestled around on the ice before officials separated them. Both men got two-minute penalties and the game went on, but the message was clear from Gudbranson.
