After very very few trades prior to the National Hockey League trade deadline, we have had a surprising number of trades coming in hours past the deadline, rpeortedly a result of several teams submitting last minute trades and creating a queue.
This is another minor deal, involving a swap of two forwards, with the Chicago Blackhaws continuing to make impressive moves to load up for a Stanleu Cup run, sending Corey Tropp to Anaheim and in exchange receiving both Tim Jackman as well a 2017 7th round pick.
Hardly a blockbuster trade but once again an interesting deal between two teams who could soon be battling in the postseason.
