Corey Crawford of the Chicago Blackhawks will be starting in nets for tonight's clash versus the Calgary Flames.
Other than having to deal with numerous penalty kills which have often resulted in goals for the opposing team Crawford has had a great start to the 2016-2017 NHL regular season and has so far protected the net 4 games out of 6 so far into the season.
Blackhawks fans generally prefer it when Crawford is in nets but this season Scott Darling has had quite a decent start and has been given the chance to hit the ice often this season. Both goalies are having great starts which is essential for any good team in case one goalie is injured or sick the other can maintain consistency for the team.
