The Kiss-cam is one of fans' favourite gimmick in the sports world.
A barrier was broken this week, when during a game between the Los Angeles Kings and the Toronto Maple Leafs at the Staples Center, a gay couple kissed on the jumbotron.
Usually meant to make fun of people of pre-planned comedy, this kiss had nothing to do with comic. It was a lovely kiss between to loving men.
Sports need to start breaking its homophobic barrier and the Kiss-cam is a really good start.
