Which injuries cost the NHL the most?

Maybe it's a question of perception, but it seems injuries are more and more common these days. Anyhow, it's always good to get solid numbers to judge a situation, and this Twitter account did just that about injuries. 

The dreaded lower body injury is predominant, but it's not a surprise. Playing on a slippery surface, on half-inch wide metal blades, is a good way to injure one's lower body. 

Above that,  head-related injuries occupy 8% of the Man-Games lost. It's still worrying that 448 games were lost due to concussions and other head related issues, even with the league's effort to reduce them. 

 You'll be glad to know that 0% of the players had heart-related injuries. This is the biggie and it didn't happen!
