The rivalry between the Washington Capitals and Pittsburgh Penguins has always been intense, and Wednesday night was no exception.

Things got heated less than half way through the very first period when Penguins captain Sidney Crosby ran into Capitals goaltender Braden Holtby, bumping him and knocking him down to the ice.

Now while you can't and shouldn't be hitting the goalie, Crosby looked like he thought Holtby took a bit of a dive on the play, and honestly we are inclined to agree with him.

In defense of Holtby though Crosby's shoulder did catch him right in the face mask, so it's not impossible that he was genuinely caught off guard and as a result a little rocked on the play.
