Bone headed move by Quick.

The Los Angeles Kings suffered defeat for the first time in regulation this season at the hands of the Toronto Maple Leafs on Monday night, and their veteran goaltender may have blown any chance they had at making a comeback.

The Kings were down a goal with just 2:05 left in the game's final period when Kings netminder Jonathan Quick delivered a blow to Toronto Maple Leafs veteran forward Leo Komarov.

The motion from Quick seemed something like a punch with a little big of a crosscheck sprinkled in, but whatever it was it was enough to send Komarov down to the ice, although the Kings' felt he embellished, and drawn a penalty.

That left the Kings a man down for nearly the entire remainder of the period and unsurprisingly their attempts at a comeback were unsuccessful as a result.
