For those who haven't been following the Stamkos medical situation, it was just last week that Stamkos admitted for the very first time that there was a real chance he could miss the entire postseason, and in just a short time that has completely been flipped.

Stamkos hit the ice for the first time this post season ahead of a huge Game 7 for the Lightning who are looking to make it to another Stanley Cup Final, this after receiving multiple opinions from medical professionals and believing that he is healthy enough to play.

According to Joe Smith Stamkos has actually been medically cleared for some time, but concerns surrounding his use of blood thinners appear to have been what kept him out of the line up.
