Young NHLer makes heartwarming call to his family after he makes the team.

For some young National Hockey League players making the team is a forgone conclusion, but for others it's anything but. 

One of those players in 23-year-old forward Taylor Leier, who despite having some NHL experience under his belt was in no way a lock to make his Philadelphia Flyers roster this season. 

So of course learning that he had in fact made the team was huge news for Leier, and he decided to share the good news with his mom and other members of his family. 

The cameras were rolling when Leier made the phone call and while he managed to remain calm and control his emotions, mom on the other side of the phone call was anything but calm.
